attention folks.

newsflash:
i just pierced my ears! i am now one of the millions who trod the earth daily with holes in their earlobes. it still stings quite a bit, so i am at a loss as to what to do.

i met up with martina, moniza and eunice today at taka. we had fun catching up and ate a bit. and then they decided it was high time i pierced my ears. LET ME TELL YOU, I WAS DAMN FREAKED. i did try to run away a couple of times. my threshold for pain is almost at zero. all the while at Bits & Pieces®, i kept telling them how scared i was and that they must not run away when i scream aloud in pain. moniza was squeezing my hand while the guy swabbed my ears with alcohol and then pierced them. the worst part was waiting for my second ear to be pierced, after experiencing the pain from the first. i did not scream. i did whimper a little, but i most certainly did not scream. i am quite happy with my conduct on that. actually it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. but it hurt.

i am very proud of myself now. hopefully i will not get an infection, because i don't think i could bear the pain. yes, i know, i am pretty worthless. so thank you, martina, moniza and eunice, for dragging me there to get earholes. it's something i would never have had the courage to do if you three weren't there to cheer me on. :)

i also signed up for 6 ccas yesterday: the student council, library (aka the drum), squash, cheerleading (yes, i know), drama and touch rugby. actually, i badly want to join touch rugby if i don't get into the student council. but i'm so useless, i probably will drop the ball even if i don't have to. or scream while running, a very common occurence for me. i am told this is highly unattractive. i am not cut out for touch rugby i guess. no matter how cool i think it is.

my inability to inject interesting vocabulary into my speech is appalling.
